Our first meal in Elko, NV. I'm pretty sure we were the only ones there under the age of 75.
Nevada scenery
After many hours of driving through Nevada desert, we finally made it to Idaho. The first thing my mom did was point to some random crops and say "those must be potatoes!"
We had a nice change of scenery in Idaho--some green to enjoy!
Heading up the hill towards our final destination for day 1: Island Park, Idaho. It was a beautiful drive up the mountains, but as you can see from this picture taken through the windshield, many bugs had to be sacrificed for our trip.
